2026 Mahindra XUV700 Facelift with LED Headlights and Triple Screens

2026 Mahindra XUV700 Facelift

Mahindra is preparing to update its popular SUV, the XUV700, with a fresh facelift expected in 2026. Recently leaked spy shots reveal several exciting upgrades in both exterior styling and cabin features. This upcoming model could also receive a new name, XUV7XO, aligning with Mahindra’s latest naming convention.

Redesigned Front With Sharp LED Headlamps

The test vehicle now features sleek LED projector headlights. These lights have separate chambers for high and low beams. Earlier test models used temporary headlamps similar to the Thar, but this version looks production-ready.

The LED DRLs are also slimmer and sharper. The front bumper now includes a refreshed grille with vertical slats, giving the SUV a bold and more premium appearance.

Two Alloy Wheel Designs Spotted

Spy images show two different 18-inch alloy wheels, suggesting Mahindra may offer different designs based on trim or drivetrain. Some reports also suggest that 19-inch wheels may be added to rival Tata’s offerings in the same segment.

Triple-Screen Layout in the Cabin

Interior images show a triple-screen dashboard, similar to the one in Mahindra’s concept EV, the XUV.e9. Each screen is expected to measure around 12 to 12.3 inches, covering the driver’s display, infotainment unit, and front passenger area.

Likely features include:

  • Digital key support
  • Advanced self-parking system
  • Rear seat ventilation
  • Powered ottoman for rear passengers
  • Premium Harman sound system
  • Auto-dimming rearview mirror

These upgrades point to a more luxurious and tech-savvy experience, although Mahindra has not confirmed all features yet.

Same Powertrains, Hybrid Variant Rumoured

Mahindra is expected to retain the current engine options:

  • 2.0-litre turbo-petrol: 197 bhp and 380 Nm
  • 2.2-litre turbo-diesel: Up to 182 bhp and 450 Nm

Transmission choices will include both 6-speed manual and automatic gearboxes. AWD (All-Wheel Drive) is also likely to remain in the top variants. While there is speculation about a plug-in hybrid version, Mahindra has not officially confirmed it.

Expected Launch in 2026

The facelifted XUV700/XUV7XO is expected to debut in 2026. While most changes focus on the front and interior, the SUV retains its strong road presence and practical side and rear profiles.
