In a significant development for India’s energy sector, Adani Total Gas Limited (ATGL) and Jio-bp have announced a strategic partnership aimed at enhancing the quality and accessibility of fuel offerings across select outlets in the country. The agreement, signed on June 25, 2025, marks a step forward in redefining the auto fuel retail experience for Indian consumers by leveraging the strengths of both companies.
Under this partnership, select ATGL fuel outlets will begin offering Jio-bp’s high-performance liquid fuels, including petrol and diesel. Meanwhile, Jio-bp fuel stations will integrate ATGL’s Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) dispensing units within ATGL’s authorized geographical areas (GAs). This collaboration aims to significantly improve the supply of high-quality and diverse fuels to transport users across India.
A Strategic Alliance for Cleaner, Broader Fuel Access
Adani Total Gas Limited (ATGL), a joint venture between Adani Group and TotalEnergies, additionally Jio-bp, a collaboration between Reliance Industries Limited and bp, have joined hands to expand India’s clean and quality fuel infrastructure.
While ATGL is a major city gas distributor serving households, industries, and transport sectors with natural gas, Compressed Biogas (CBG), EV charging, and LNG, on the other hand, Jio-bp is a mobility solutions leader offering petrol, diesel, and clean energy alternatives through its wide network.
The partnership spans both existing and upcoming outlets, covering ~650 ATGL CNG stations and ~2000 Jio-bp fuel outlets, marking a significant step toward India’s clean energy future.
