New Delhi, June 19, 2025 — In a major development for India’s aerospace sector, France-based Dassault Aviation has announced a partnership with Anil Ambani-led Reliance Group to manufacture Falcon 2000 business jets in India. The official announcement was made via Dassault’s press release earlier this week.
The manufacturing will take place at the Dassault Reliance Aerospace Limited (DRAL) facility located in MIHAN-SEZ, Nagpur, where the final assembly line for the aircraft will be established.
According to the official statement, this will be the first time Dassault’s Falcon business jets are being produced outside France, with India now playing a central role in the global supply chain.
“This step reflects our strong and long-term commitment to the ‘Make in India’ policy. We are proud to expand our presence in India beyond defence into the civil aviation sector,” said Éric Trappier, Chairman and CEO of Dassault Aviation.
The Falcon 2000 is a high-performance, twin-engine business jet known for its range, comfort, and advanced capabilities. The aircraft is widely used by corporations and private operators worldwide.
The deal is also expected to generate high-skilled jobs, promote indigenous capabilities, and strengthen India-France industrial cooperation.
Meanwhile, the Reliance Group has confirmed its full operational readiness to take on the production responsibility and contribute to India’s emergence as a global aviation manufacturing hub.
The timeline for the commencement of production and first aircraft rollout is expected to be shared in the coming months.
