There is good news for crores of Indian farmers. The 20th installment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana is expected to be credited soon, likely around 20th June 2025. But farmers must complete their eKYC to get this INR 2000 installment. Without it, the money will not be transferred.
Annual Benefit of INR 6000 in 3 Installments
Under this scheme, the Central Government gives INR 6000 per year to eligible farmers in three equal installments of INR 2000 each. So far, 19 installments have already been sent to farmers. The 20th installment is next in line.
Expected Date of 20th Installment
Reports suggest the 20th installment may be sent in the third or fourth week of June, possibly on 20th June 2025. However, the government has not officially confirmed the date yet. Farmers are advised to keep checking pmkisan.gov.in and also watch for SMS alerts on their registered mobile numbers.
eKYC is Mandatory
To receive the INR 2000 payment, eKYC is compulsory. Without it, the installment will be blocked.

How to Do PM Kisan eKYC Online:
- Visit the official website: pmkisan.gov.in
- Click on the “e-KYC” option
- Enter your Aadhaar number and registered mobile number
- Complete the process using the OTP and click Submit
Or, visit your nearest CSC centre and do Biometric eKYC.
Who Will NOT Get PM Kisan 20th Installment
According to the PM Kisan rules:
- Husband and wife both cannot take the benefit. Only one person in the family is eligible.
- If any family member has filed income tax, they are not eligible.
- Farmers who rent land and do not own it are not eligible.
- Farmers holding constitutional posts are also not eligible.
