Earlier reports mentioned that the budget for Ramayanam Part-1 would be ₹900 crore and Part-2 ₹700 crore. However, new updates now reveal a far bigger budget than expected.

Ramayanam to Be Made with ₹4000 Crore Budget

As per sources linked with the production, the total Ramayanam film budget is now estimated to be ₹4000 crore or around 500 million dollars. This makes it the highest-budget film in the history of Indian cinema. The source also shared that both parts of the film are being made at an international level with top-class VFX and advanced technology. By the end of production, the combined cost of both parts will cross ₹4000 crore.

First Indian Film to Use AI Dubbing

For the very first time in India, a film will use AI dubbing technology. This will allow Ramayanam to be available in multiple Indian languages with perfect synchronization. This step aims to provide a smoother viewing experience for audiences across all regions.

The film is being created in collaboration with DNEG, the VFX studio that has won 8 Oscars, and Monster Mind Creations, Yash’s own production company.

Release Timeline and Star Cast

The makers have planned the release of Ramayanam in two parts. The first part will hit theatres during Diwali 2026, while the second part will be released in Diwali 2027.

This mega film features Ranbir Kapoor as Ram and Sai Pallavi as Sita. Yash will be seen as Ravana. Actor Ravi Dubey will play the role of Laxman, and Sunny Deol will appear as Hanuman. The casting itself has generated a lot of buzz among fans.

With a record-breaking budget and cutting-edge technology, Ramayanam is set to redefine Indian cinema. The makers are leaving no stone unturned to make it a visual masterpiece for global audiences.
