TVS Motor Company has officially teased the 2025 models of its popular bikes, the Apache RTR 160 2V and Apache RTR 180, ahead of their expected launch in India. The teaser reveals sharp new LED daytime running lights (DRLs), hinting at a refreshed look and updated features.
Both bikes are expected to receive new graphics and color schemes. Apart from the visual updates, these motorcycles will now comply with the latest OBD-2B emission norms. Despite these changes, the engine setup will remain unchanged. The RTR 160 will continue to use its 159.7cc engine delivering around 16 PS and 13.85 Nm of torque, while the RTR 180 will retain its 177.4cc motor producing 17 PS and 15.5 Nm of torque.

Feature upgrades may include a fully digital instrument console and Bluetooth connectivity through TVS’s SmartXonnect app. The bikes will continue to be based on a double cradle frame with telescopic front forks and 17-inch wheels.
There is also speculation that the RTR 180 could be equipped with dual-channel ABS, a safety improvement over the current single-channel ABS setup.
Currently, the RTR 160 is priced between ₹1.21 lakh and ₹1.31 lakh, while the RTR 180 starts around ₹1.35 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Prices for the updated 2025 versions will be announced during the official launch.
