UPSC has launched a new platform called UPSC Pratibha Setu. This portal will assist candidates who have cleared all stages of exams like IAS, IPS, IFS, Engineering Services, Forest Services, and others, but did not make it to the final list.
Under this plan, such candidates can now get job opportunities from top government departments, PSUs, autonomous bodies, and private companies. Only verified recruiters can access their details like educational background, UPSC scores, and contact information.
Candidates who wish to join the portal must give consent first. Without permission, no one will share their data with anyone. Similarly, only registered and verified employers will get access to the profiles. This secure system ensures privacy, safety, and trust for all users.
UPSC Pratibha Setu Portal Launched to Help Non-Selected Candidates
This portal is not limited to the Civil Services. It covers several UPSC exams like:
- Indian Engineering Services
- Indian Forest Service
- Combined Medical Services
- Indian Economic Service
- Statistical Service
- CDS and others
Earlier, they called this system the Public Disclosure Scheme. It began in 2018 for a few exams. Now, they have renamed and expanded it as Pratibha Setu to reach more candidates and offer them new career options.
The idea is to make sure the talent of hardworking aspirants does not go to waste. Even if someone does not become an IAS or IPS officer, they can still use their knowledge and effort for the country’s growth in other sectors.
