Vipul Organics is all set to kickstart production at its newly built manufacturing facility in Sayakha, Gujarat, during the current fiscal year. The plant, part of Gujarat’s strategic PCPIR (Petroleum, Chemicals and Petrochemicals Investment Region), marks a major leap in the company’s efforts to expand its pigment production capacity to meet rising global and domestic demand.
The Sayakha unit, spread over 25,000 square meters, is Vipul Organics’ largest greenfield project to date. The workers have already completed around 60% of the civil work, and they expect Phase 1 of construction to conclude by August 2025.
The facility will focus on manufacturing pigments, pigment intermediaries, and high-performance dispersions. The company confirmed that production will begin within the current fiscal year, boosting its supply chain efficiency.
Strategic Expansion with Focus on Global Markets
The company has received all required environmental and infrastructure clearances. The team is currently working on the Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) and expects it to be ready by October 2025. With proximity to the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor and Dahej Port, the location is ideal for large-scale manufacturing and export operations.
Vipul Organics plans to kickstart production to strengthen its market position across key global markets, including Europe, Southeast Asia, and North America. The facility’s operational readiness will help reduce pressure on existing plants and improve overall production scalability.
Earlier, Vipul Organics had raised INR 15 crore through preferential allotments to fund this expansion. With the Sayakha plant becoming operational, the company aims to deliver improved turnaround times and meet the growing demand for speciality chemicals worldwide.
Summary
Vipul Organics to kickstart production at its Sayakha, Gujarat facility this fiscal. With 60% construction completed, the plant will boost pigment manufacturing and strengthen global supply capabilities.
