The United States has claimed to have destroyed Iran’s three major nuclear sites — Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan — in a targeted strike. President Donald Trump provided a full update in a national address.
Following the airstrike, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu praised the U.S., calling it a close ally. In a video statement released in Hebrew, Netanyahu said, “What the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) started, America has finished.”
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said, “Congratulations, President Trump. Your bold decision to target Iran’s nuclear facilities with the tremendous and just power of the United States will change history and the course of Operation Rising Lion. The United States has carried out an unprecedented action tonight against Iran’s nuclear facilities. It has done what no other country on Earth could. History will record that President Trump worked to deprive the world’s most dangerous regime of the world’s most dangerous weapons.”
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that he has fulfilled the promise he made at the beginning of the conflict — to destroy Iran’s nuclear facilities. He emphasized that the United States completed the mission that the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) had initiated on June 13.
“At the start of the operation, I promised you that Iran’s nuclear facilities would be destroyed one way or another,” Netanyahu said. “That promise has now been fulfilled.”
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu also shared details of his telephone conversation with U.S. President Donald Trump. “I called President Trump to congratulate him immediately after the American operation concluded. It was a very warm and emotional conversation,” Netanyahu said.
He added, “He (Trump) congratulated me, he praised our military, and he extended his congratulations to our people. President Trump is leading the free world with determination. He is a true friend of Israel — a friend like no other.”
Following the airstrike on Iran, former U.S. President Donald Trump stated that the objective was to destroy Iran’s nuclear enrichment capacity. In his address to the nation, Trump declared, “There will either be peace, or there will be tragedy.”
He further revealed that several targets remain and warned that if peace is not achieved soon, the U.S. will carry out additional, more precise strikes on those remaining targets. Donald Trump emphasized that Iran must now agree to end the conflict. According to Indian Standard Time, the U.S. strike on Iran took place at 4:30 AM on Sunday.
